Problem updating nikon nx
As others have noted, no real image adjustments, but cntrl E allows processing to jpeg or tiff, so still like View NX2 in that regard.Reverted out of View NXi, since it doesn't seem to offer any great advantage over View NX2, which is uninstalled with the install of View NXi. Open NX-I, do your view sort thing, click edit, launches NX-D very quickly. NX-I is VERY fast, opens thumbnails almost instantly, even a folder with more than 100.With every new version, it has become buggier and buggier, and now with the last few updates, incredibly slow... Just tried View NX-i for the third time (its been updated) & still when you had your copyright info & GPS data into your NEF file; Lightroom doesn't recognise the info unlike View NX 2 which has no problem.
Mac users will need to be running at least OS X 10.8.5, an Intel Core or Xeon series CPU (for still image editing), 2GB of RAM, and have a display with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768. I've been using View NX since 2003, when it actually worked decently. If anyone has any recommendations, I love to hear from you.Earlier this month, Nikon announced plans to release its new View NX-i image browsing software for free on March 17.As promised, the download has gone live today, building on the camera maker's previous View NX 2 software. The information panes can be collapsed to allow for a cleaner view of images, and basic edits can be made via a dedicated button that pulls up Nikon's NX-D software (assuming it is already installed on the system).View NX-i is available for both Mac OS and Windows.
